Haven't been here since the new administration has taken control.Initial impressions are - the place seems a lot cleaner - the lounge area is not so cluttered - there is a very convenient marquee in the grounds (not known if this is a permanent feature - but it should be) and the new owner, Joe, radiates personality. I don't come here often enough.
Ideal for a cycling destination as the bikes are very safe round the back and we were made to feel very welcome. A tuned guitar is available for a sing-song and they have barrelfuls of fermented apple juice to get you merry! A must destination for your next evening bike ride!
It is lovely to see that the new owners have maintained what makes Tucker's Grave special. Great beer and cider complimented by friendly staff and locals. Next time we will camp to fully enjoy the experience. Also good to see the skittle alley still there.
