Just popped in for breakfast while at a loose end. Bacon sandwich was lovely, didn't look very big but was nice and filling... Pot of tea very good value, almost 3 cups from a pot at only 1.80.
This was a find that you come across by chance but then think that it was just meant to be. We turned up at The Redan Inn looking for lodging in a place where I could also have a pint (since I was driving). So our only requirement was a pub with lodging attached to it.We found ourselves in a beautiful pub with rooms that rival those of hotels where we've paid more than twice the room rate.To make things even better, the food served at the pub downstairs was spectacular, probably the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life.The breakfast the next morning was spectacular, too, and the service was second to none throughout, even though they were incredibly busy in the evening when we had dinner.This place is not only good if your passing by, this place is worth a detour.
Absolutely lovely place!! The food is incredible, the rooms are gorgeous and the staff cannot do enough for you. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Lovely pub, fantastic food and brilliant service. Food is pricey so best for special occasions. Has a fantastic garden as well.
Me and the girlfriend went here for our year anniversary together. Checked the menu online and got an idea of what we wanted. Drove there hungry. Not the same menu. But as much as we were disappointed we couldn't be. The service and the food was just amazing. Even the beer from the tap tasted better. Amazing. Would go back again.
